Provides transportation for the senior and disabled residents of Livonia. Transportation is available to places within the City of Livonia with limited service outside the city limits. Livonia Community Transit is a demand-response service. Scheduling is arranged on a first-come, first serve basis. Reservations are requested at least two weeks in advance, but rides may be scheduled as far as 90 days in advance. Livonia Community Transit also serves two hubs for SMART and D-DOT bus riders providing transportation to various employers within the City of Livonia. Riders are picked up from the hubs in the morning and dropped off again for the return in the afternoon. There is no mid-day service. Call for reservations Mon – Fri 8:30am – 5:00pm.

Service Fees:
The cost per ride is $2 each way. Passengers must have exact fare or a bus ticket before boarding the bus. Drivers do not carry cash so they cannot make change. Individual tickets cost $2. Punch tickets, good for ten rides, can be purchased for $20. Tickets are non-refundable.
