Medical Transportation is available Mon – Fri 8:00am – 4:00pm for senior residents of Bloomfield Hills and Bloomfield Township through SMART funding. Residents must be 60 or older or 50 and over with medical handicaps (written confirmation from a licensed physician is required). The limited amount of funds and the high cost of medical transportation mandates that BTSS implement qualifying guideline for receiving service. Transportation clients are responsible for paying a 45% co-pay to BTSS for all rides. A completed application form must be on file for all individuals prior to receiving medical transportation services. Proof of residency must accompany the application form.
Complimentary Transportation to the Senior Center is available to Bloomfield Twp Residents from 8:00am – 2:00pm Monday – Friday.
